My name is Marguerite Gresham, and I am one of the proud owners and directors of the newly opened Child Development Cooperative. My business partner-in-crime, latest family addition, and new friend is Jennifer Crowell. She and I decided to take on this venture after finding out the previous center was closing. We were able open in less than two months with the help of some amazing staff, wonderful friends and families, and other community partners (who all know who they are).
This blog is a creation that will hopefully showcase our center, children, and staff. Each month a new staff or family member will write one entry on a topic that is special to her heart. This first entry is just an introduction to what is close to mine–The Co-op. The Child Development Cooperative is a business and my job, but oh so much more. It is where my son, Jules, is beginning his life. I get to be a part of that all day. It is a dream actualized. So, I dedicate this blog to everyone who has made this dream a reality. Thank you.
