What: White Light Night and 1st Annual Co-op Kids’ Art Show
When: November 20, 6-9pm (White Light Night is officially until 10pm, but our kids have to get their sleep)
Where: The Child Development Co-op, 250 S. Foster, across the street from BRCC
This year the Child Development Co-op will be on the mid city merchants’ art hop route. Each year the Mid City Merchants of Baton Rouge get together and participate in an Art Hop. You can ride shuttles and visit various locations in the heart of Baton Rouge that will be hosting local artists. This year in conjunction with White Light Night, we will be having our very first Annual Co-op Kids’ Art Show. We will have music (Ms. Dorothy, our music teacher and local performer), food, and of course ART! You will be able to see what our kids have been up to. There will be watercolors, fingerpaints, collages, and more! Come check us out and have some fun. We will have additional parking for the event, so you can come in, see some great art, and then hop on a shuttle and visit other small businesses in the area that are supporting this amazing community event. It is free and open to the public, so join us November 20 from 6-9pm and support the arts!
Sounds fun!
